Find or create a personal visual interpretation of a selected poem, text or song. Using the video camera and Premiere Pro/After Effects, film and edit the visual with a consistent visual aesthetic and style that keeps with the tone of the poem, with particular attention given to its structural elements, rhythm, meter, repetition, as well as its symbolic significance and musical resonance.

SOLUTION

Love is something we all desire so I wrote a poem about love and relationships which tells the true story of a girl who once struggled with relationships until true love found her. Visually, I aimed to cinematically capture the story through subliminal imagery and references.
